Camden Cow Clogs are available in either hardwood or rubber. The rubber clogs provide additional comfort for the cow on concrete surfaces or compacted lane-ways.

FITTING CAMDEN COW CLOGS IN THE FIELD

STEP 1 . . .

Lame cow's hoof raised for treatment.

STEP 2 . . .

Identify the claw with the lesion. The Camden Cow Clog is fitted to the opposite claw to relieve weight bearing by the affected claw.

STEP 3 . . .

Healthy claw preparation is very IMPORTANT for a good bond. It must be clean, dry and flat.

STEP 4 . . .

Checking size, centre the claw over the surface of the clog.

Note: The claw must NOT over-hang the clog.

STEP 5 . . .

Extrude the adhesive onto the clog applying a 1cm high x 2cm wide strip to the middle of the clog along it's entire length. (for further detail on the adhesive please go to the Adhesive page)

STEP 6 . . .

Fix the clog onto the cow's claw by applying light pressure for approximately 10-15 seconds. Always centre the cow's claw over the clog. Do not allow the claw to over-hang the clog and ensure the clog is kept level with the sole. Try to prevent any product leakage from the sides.

After 1-3 minutes from the application (depending on the current temperature) it will now support the weight of the cow.

FITTING COMPLETE

The affected claw is now raised removing it from weight bearing to expedite the healing process and dramatically alleviates pain.

10 DAYS LATER . . .

Camden Cow Clogs continuing to provide cow comfort.
